Managing Director - Graham Stammers

Graham has been involved in the Renewable Energy Sector Since 2009 following the takeover of an existing Agricultural Contractor Business "SS–Agri Services". Initially the business provided services to local farmers however, the long term aim was to move into development of Anaerobic Digestion plants.

The Company restructured to meet the needs of existing customers. The original business plan was remodelled the focus being to enable businesses to become self-sustaining. The overall objective from the new business model was to incorporate the use of agriculture materials in the future to feed the planned Anaerobic Digestion plants, improving margins by reducing the cost to the business and removing the need to engage third parties. The resources accumulated through "SS–Agri" would ultimately become the supply of feedstock for the soon to be constructed "SSAgri Power plant".

By 2012, the business model had evolved, newco “SS–Agri Power” was Incorporated and the construction of the first 1.56mw Anaerobic Digestion Plant to produce electricity, was underway.  Simultaneously an Investor was identified which funded construction of the plant, utilising proven technology which created a legacy that others would be excited to work with in the future.

Construction Industry experience, enabled Graham to project manage the build from appointing CDM coordinator to work with the Principal Contractor on site to liaison and reporting to the investor to delivery of the completed project.  The Business then had control of the entire AD process from preparing the land ready for planting and growing crops, through to harvesting crop at the optimum condition in order to get best results as the crop was fed through the AD Plant.

Talsie Energy Limited began as Consultancy in 2013, when Graham’s experience in the AD field led to an invitation to contract with “Qila Energy” which had an interest in the development of Anaerobic Digestion Plants.  On behalf of Qila,  Graham, built relationships with key stakeholders to evaluate potential business opportunities and was Instrumental in Qila Energy securing a significant funding package from a London Private Investment Company, bringing together Anaerobic Digestion technology and Venture Capitalists interested in Joint Venture projects.

Outside of the relationship with “Qila Energy”, Talsie Energy, became the “Go to” Anaerobic Digestion Consultancy in East Anglia and went on to participate and advise on a number of independent AD projects which ultimately became success stories.

In the last three years Graham has further concentrated on expansion of his activities in the Renewable Energy Sector and is now actively involved in a wide range of solar and battery storage projects.
